Easy Easter eggs

Published March 18, 2013 by thespottedowl1

Today’s craft was super easy and really fun! About 5 months ago my husband picked up contact paper from Home Depot for another one of my craft ideas but we never got to actually using it. Today I pulled it out and realized it isn’t completely clear, it has little clouded shapes in it. Makes a neat effect for Easter eggs. I found the best way to do this was to cut out a rectangle, peel half the paper off, tape it to the floor, decorate then peel the other half off and stick together. Then cut out your egg shape. We used all sorts of random craft supplies. Tissue paper, buttons, ribbon, yarn and some fancy material that came around a flower bouquet. Here is what we ended up with.

The tree has been on the window since autumn, I have a few previous posts with it in it. Tomorrow I think I’ll add buds to the branches.
